As an Information Technology Specialist, Hamzah manages secure system access, supports critical IT infrastructure, and ensures reliable data availability for ZGlobal’s operational teams.
IT Responsibilities
- Manages client and internal personnel data access, ensuring secure connectivity to CAISO web applications such as ADS, CIDI, CMRI, MRI-S, and SIBR
- Performs network administration, including switch and router configuration, network segmentation, VPN maintenance, and monitoring of system performance and uptime.
- Supports cybersecurity functions by assisting with firewall management, threat monitoring, access control reviews, vulnerability mitigation, and adherence to internal security policies.
CAISO New Resource Implementation (NRI) Support
- Assists in managing project timelines, deliverables, and communication between ZGlobal teams, CAISO representatives, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinates technical onboarding tasks for new resources, including data exchange preparation, telemetry configuration support, and validation tracking.
- Helps ensure resources meet CAISO requirements related to metering, telemetry, modeling, and market registration.
- Monitors documentation, action items, and milestone progress across multiple resource implementation projects.
