Arevon Energy is one of the largest renewable asset managers in the United States. Averon has 6,003 MW and 1000 MWh of storage capacity (www.arevonenergy.com) and owns the following assets in Imperial County, C Solar West 182 MW, C Solar South 172 MW, and Mt. Signal 3 328 MW. Arevon Energy purchased a 2 GW/6 GWh supply of Tesla Megapacks in support of its growing utility-scale storage portfolio through a master supply agreement. Averon recently purchased the Vikings project which consists of 150 MWdc solar and 600 MWh of battery energy storage. ZG has been working on this Project since its inception and completed all development activities on time. Averon signed an agreement with ZG to provide additional development services to support the Project’s effort to achieve commercial operations within 2023. ZG entered into a development service agreement to assist Arevon with the design and construction activities. ZG completed all development activities which included permitting, interconnection, wheeling, pre-engineering, and pre-construction. Phase 1 of the project of 600 MWh Tesla Batteries is currently under testing and commissioning and expected COD in December 2023.
