Thomas Zale is ZGlobal’s Principal, Environmental & Permitting Specialist. In this role, he works with government agencies to secure transmission right-of-ways and manages NEPA and CEQA processes for various projects. Prior to working with ZGlobal, Thomas retired from the Bureau of Land Management with forty years of federal service in 2019. He began his career in 1978 working as an Archeologist in New Mexico. He subsequently worked in that capacity in Nevada and Wyoming before becoming supervisor of an interdisciplinary staff in 1990. Thomas has a strong background in land use planning and project management, promoting partnerships, collaboration, and employee development.
