In his role as an Energy Information Systems Analyst, Brandon delivers technical and analytical solutions that align system strategy with evolving business and regulatory requirements. He also researches emerging computing applications with a focus on compliance challenges associated with modern grid operations.
IT Responsibilities:
- Manages client and internal personnel data access, ensuring secure connectivity to CAISO web applications and APIs, OATI, ERCOT web applications and APIs, ZGRID, and other data portals
- Oversees ZGlobal’s internal IT infrastructure, including Azure Active Directory administration, firewall management, on-premises network administration, hardware support, and helpdesk operations
- Manages ZGlobal’s SCADA data hub, supporting 24-hour operational monitoring for co-located and hybrid-managed sites
- Supports ZGlobal’s bidding module vendor by managing data interfaces between client web services and ZGlobal databases
Data Analytics & Market Operations Support:
- Designs and implements data analysis tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in client reporting
- Develops and maintains BI dashboards for internal monitoring and client portfolio oversight
- Participates in regular client meetings, providing technical and analytical support
- Performs energy reconciliation against metered data and prepares daily revenue estimates
- Produces end-of-month profit and loss reports for clients
- Conducts daily and weekly CAISO settlement verification and reconciliation, including dispute submissions when required
- Assists with CAISO and PG&E invoicing processes
- Supports client EQR filing requirements and transaction data preparation
- Provides backup support for ZGlobal market operations, including Resource Adequacy and meter submissions

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Cybersecurity from the University of Nevada, Reno.
